Here at Music Bits Company, we sell some of the finest musical instruments and gear. Gleaming guitars, thunderous drums, silky-smooth brass, and amplifiers that could wake the dead — or at least your neighbours.

And we want to be very clear about something: we take absolutely no responsibility for what you do with any of it (unless its covered by the warranty of course).

None. Zero. Zilch.

The Guitar

You came in for a "beginner acoustic." You left with a vintage-style electric, a valve amp, a pedalboard the size of a coffee table, and a look in your eye that your partner is going to have questions about.

We sold you the instrument. What happens next — the 2am noodling, the unsolicited Wonderwall at every family gathering, the formation of a band called "The Existential Crumpets" — that's entirely on you.

The Drums

We admire your passion. We really do. But when your downstairs neighbour files a noise complaint, when your dog develops a nervous twitch, when your family starts scheduling "drum-free zones" in the house — please know that we warned you.

(Okay. We probably did not warn you. But we thought about it).

The Ukulele

Ah, the ukulele. Purchased with the best of intentions. "It's small," you said. "It's cheerful," you said. "I'll just learn a few chords."

Six months later you're performing at open mic nights, wearing a Hawaiian shirt unironically, and referring to yourself as a "uke enthusiast" owning 20 ukes. We cannot be held liable.

A Word on Great Power

A wise person once said: "With great power comes great responsibility." They were almost certainly not talking about a 100-watt Marshall stack, but the principle holds.

Music is one of the most powerful forces on earth. It can move people to tears, unite strangers, soundtrack the best moments of your life — and, if played at sufficient volume through the wrong amp at the wrong time, cause a full diplomatic incident with your semi-detached neighbours.

We trust you to use your new gear wisely. Responsibly. Considerately.

And if you don't, well — we'll be here when you need a second guitar to make up for it.
